Upon arrival at Colombo CMB airport, you will meet your tour leader and you will be transferred to your hotel. The first destination will be Negombo coastal town, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its golden sandy beach, food and fun.

En-route to Dambulla, you’ll visit the Millennium Elephant Foundation. Take the opportunity to feed them and give them a bath at the nearby river.
Upon arrival at Dambulla, you’ll enjoy a wonderful cultural village tour while exploring the beautiful countryside (ADMISSION FEES INCLUDED). It will start with a Bullock Cart ride, one of the most ancient and prime transportation systems in Sri Lanka, still used in some villages. Thereafter, visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE). In 1070 King Vijayabahu chose this place as his kingdom, one of the most ancient in the history of Sri Lanka. Afternoon, visit the famous Sigiriya Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. King Kasyapa (477 โ 495 BC) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. En route to Kandy, visit the Royal Cave Temple (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE). Dambulla has the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The Nine Arch Bridge, a major tourist attraction in Ella, is a massive bridge built entirely of solid rocks, bricks, and cement without using a single piece of steel. Afterwards, depart from Ella towards Yala National Park. En-route, visit Rawana waterfall, one of the most popular sightseeing attractions in Ella. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country; in fact, this waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft).

A professional tour leader tasked with ensuring the smooth operations of the tour, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the entire trip. His role primarily includes assisting with accommodation and transportation between locations while sharing the knowledge about social and cultural splendor of Sri Lanka. Our customer support team will be there to provide 24/7 support during & after your trip, as well as help with all of your onward travel.
Daily breakfasts, 8 dinners and 1 lunch are included in the tour. For all other meals, the tour leader will offer assistance with reservations, suggestions and directions to local restaurants. This tour offers Jain, Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal food options on request. Simply let our customer support team know the food option that you prefer.

- Cancellations received earlier than 12 days prior to the departure date are fully refundable.
- Cancellations received 12 days or 7 days prior to the departure date: 50% from the payment or postpone tour with travel credits.
- Cancellations received 7 days or less prior to the beginning of the tour are non-refundable, but the tour can be postponed to a later date.
- Most entrance and activity fees are paid in local currency. We suggest you keep some Sri Lankan rupees with you while on the tour. You can exchange money at the airport or the tour leader can assist you to exchange money at local banks.
- Religious places have a strict protocol when it comes to clothes and people should cover themselves up. However, usually you can wear almost anything that goes with the warm climate.
- In tropical countries the weather is always unpredictable, so it will be handy to bring a rain jacket.
- Sun protection, mosquito repellent, sunglasses and a hat can be very useful during your tour.
- The official check-in time at all hotels will be at 02:00 pm.
- The official check-out time at all hotels will be at 11:00am.
Temperatures
Sri Lanka is a year-around holiday destination with two monsoon seasons, so there is a lot of confusion about when it is the best time to visit. The weather doesnโt run like clockwork here! The temperature is constantly around 27ยฐC on the coast, while on the hill side it always stays below 20ยฐC.
